Saw something tonite that looked reddish compared with stars,could that have been it?

Mags sorry did not get back to you immediately as I had had company and switched off. What you might have seen last night was Mars as coming very visible at the moment. The ISS is as bright as the largest planets the only difference you can actually spot the shape of the solar panels with a clear sky it glides across the sky and does not blink.

Thanks Wendilla,found your reply, guess it was Mars then, by the time I called my partner out it had gone behind a cloud, then we've wet nights so haven't looked again
