Since being made redundant from my part time job, I have had far too much time on my hands, most of which has been spent on AB.
However, tomorrow, I am beginning a voluntary position at one of the local special schools. It has taken what seems like an age for my DBS certificate to arrive but now it's here and I can go back to doing something I love. I'm very excited.
So, much as I enjoy everyone's company on here, I'm pleased that I have something else to do instead.

Congratulations ☺☺☺

I hope that doesn't mean your abandoning us, we have special needs as well.

Jno, a DBS certificate is from the Disclosure and Barring Service. It show you have been 'checked out' and have no criminal convictions. It's a safeguarding procedure.

Question Author
Yes, boxy. It has replaced the CRB check. It still takes an age to come through though.

I will find time for AB. There's always that time between throwing the dinner in the oven and actually eating it.
Oh.........Creative Curriculum tomorrow. Yeah!
