I have to go out, but a quick heads up on Vicky Coren ...

Just played Day 1 in the WSOP Main Event.

Through to Day 2 with 53,000 in chips.

VC says her cards were a bit dead overnight, so she's happy to be where she is.

Day 1 was 12 hours of play, so they have a day off, and Day 2 starts tomorrow.

I dunno, I just can't get excited about people trying to turn cards into money.

Women's cricket, now, that's different.

Why would anyone want to watch a bunch of blokes ...

... trying to kick a ball into a net (and usually failing), or

... trying to run across a line before the others?
