Saved money ... treat myself?

I've been to Costco.

As usual, I had shopping lists from a load of pals.

The bill was £890 (most of which I will get back).

I reckon, between us all, we must have saved a tleast £300 against supermarket prices.

So, after saving so much money ... maybe I could go out and treat myself !!??

ps. would anyone like to help me hump a Land Cruiser full of shopping up to my flat?

Speakin of saving money, someone asked me the other day if i'd noticed the benefit of not buying fags on a daily basis, and no, i sodding can't! I don't appear to have extra money in my purse or my bank account, though logic tells me i must have- so where is it? eh? eh? EH???

I bought a lot of drinks, 4 liters of Jack Daniels, 6 litres of vodka, 6 litres of Bombay Sapphire, 12 whole smoked salmons, 8 slabs of Coke (£7.39 for 30 cans = 24p/can), fliur, tomatoes, beans, strawberries, raspberries, olives, humous, frozen prawns, mozzarella ... stuff like that).

It's SO cheap.

Hopkirk ... it's not all for the same person. Several of my pals like a couple of smoked salmon when I go to Costco.

£12.59 for a whole smoked salmon (650g)

It would be almost £20 in Waitrose.
