Bishop André Joseph Leonard, Bishop of Bruges, says he is "seeking forgiveness" for ...

... "sexually molesting a young boy".

Ooooh ... you're seeking forgiveness?

Well, that's alright then.

I mean, we wouldn't want anything bad to happen to you, would we?

Like ... being arrested for sexual assault against a minor !!!

Anyway, good luck with the "seeking forgiveness" thing.

All this sexual molestation and abuse within in the Catholic Church makes me sick how horrific for all the people abused and left for years to cope without help or counselling! To deep a subject to discuss!!
How old was the little boy in question?

And, last Thursday, the Bishop of Kildare, James Moriarty, resigned after it wa revealed that he had covered up cases involving paedophile priests.

Where will it end?

Will there be anyone left to actually run the Catholic church ???

(or will they all be in prison?)

sara ...

If it was anyone other than a priest, the blue flashing lights would be lined up outside his house, and the handcuffs would be out.

As it is ... NOTHING seems to be happening at the moment !
and what makes it worse is that the pope is even involved in the cover up....thank god im an atheist....

Something that saddens me is the breaking revelation that, in 2001, His Holiness Pope John Paul II gave approval for Cardinal Dario Hoyos to assist in the shielding of a French priest who had raped several children.

I have always said that, whilst viewing the current Pope as a complete t1t, I have always had great respect for previous Popes.

It is starting to look as if that respect was misplaced.
Me too Stoke. Religion demands respect, but it doesn't warrant it.
is this going on in the UK, too?
