WOO HOO...........GOT A JOB

I was mande redundant on 31/3/10 I was bothered about my age I am 54.... today I have got a temp job with the local council. I am a VERY confident person but being MADE redundant knocks you for six. So for anyone else who is looking have faith something will turn up. I did have an interview on Wednesday it was 19 miles away I was happy to travel if I got the job but this is only 3 miles from my home. G&T in order!!!

Well done - that was quick. It's good to get a job quickly as the longer you are out of work the harder it is to get back in as employers don't want to take someone who has been out of work and you yourself can lose self-confidence.

Thank you all!!!!! I will have to work until I am 65 I was born in1955 that is the first year for 65 retirement. Also investments & pensions have lost hell of alot of money this last 4 years so 65 it is.
