Just visited York last week for the first time and it is such a beautiful historical city.

Is there anyone that can tell me how old the town wall is that runs along York's perimeter?

I have got to admit that the York Minster took my breath away.
The stained-glass windows were stunning!
I suppose it's something I tend to take for granted, but I must agree parts of the city are lovely. The Museum Gardens in the city centre is one of my favourite spots, as the gardens are beautiful and contain the ruins of St Marys Abbey (which Henry tore down)

I just love the snickleways and the small tucked away churches; such an atmosphere, one can almost sense the history.
