As you can all probably tell I have just installed Yahoo .... and I keep getting annoying great big advertising pop ups. How can I stop them ?? If at all ??

I have yahoo mail and don`t get pop ups, or is it the yahoo toolbar you mean?
I love yahoo mail and yahoo answers, but not keen on the toolbar or search engine.
I prefer google toolbar and search.

All Yahoo add-ons are pests as I see it.
They introduce hundreds of unwanted Registry entries, cookies, slow down browsers, etc. Yahoo toolbar security is also suspect (and has been for quite a long time now)

.. pop-ups in what application? Messenger?
Difficult if you need to stop in messenger .. a few people have had a go.
