in pakistan. its funny how the dad took him there and then he gets kidnapped, is this another plan to make easy money from us stupid gullible british, or is has he really been abducted...? i do wonder i really do hope hes ok either way.£100'000 can go a long way in that country, and pakistani dads do tend to do a runner with the kids...another shannon mathews story, but in pakistan. What do you think?

I don't like to say it but that was our initial reaction when we watched him on TV..

Hope we're wrong...really really hope we're wrong.

The Mother looked genuine..

she might be in on it, its funny how these pakistani woman hang to every word of the husband, thats if hes told her they'll get money out of this and they can all live happy ever after in pakistan, but i do hope also that the father hasnt just ran off and hid little kid somewhere and making out hes been kidnapped and the mum is non the wiser.
Question Author
i hope were right and the kid is ok, then they'll get locked up with any luck
Something smells in this story, and I am very very suspicious.
Sorry if this offends!
Question Author
Not offende in any way, u are right something does smell, a rat!
I have to admit that I was a little suspicious when I read the story too, I did wonder if the father had anything to do with it all. Lets hope the child is found and returned to safety whatever has happened!
He looked like he was trying to blink the tears out...and he darted his eyes. They will be studying his body language. They'll go along with it for now.

Still hope I'm wrong...

I said the same thing when I watched the first 'I was the last person to see them alive' interview with Ian Huntley.

and why did they let the authorities and press find out here straight away, surely that could jeapordise any chance of getting him back alive, this is definatley fishy, you heard it from me...they want money from us, they said we will raise the cash somehow to pay the kidnappers, which means, we will get you stupid british (u and me) to pay up and donate it..........and the auntie looked fishy to, she was talkin to the news reporter, but kept looking to the floor, body language hey, she didnt want to make eye contact......we are not stupid are we.
of course they want money, that's why kidnappings happen. But two people have been arrested, so it doesn't sound like a very effective put-up job if that's what it was.
This was the main story of the news this evening. I watched the report, and I have my own suspions as it does seem quite strange that only the father went over to Pakistan
- first question Why not the mother of the child? As her step mother is of ill-health ??

It happened so close to the return journey?
-Where was the Father? How was it managed that the 5 year old could be taken away from his care without being noticed?

Does the father really think that they are going to exchange the child for himself as he said something like "I don't care what happens to me. I just want him to come home. Surely he is not stupid enough to actually think that theres the slightest chance of the exchange.

The father actually did not seem as upset as I know I would be. He to me, acted calm and not in a state I would expect to see somebody in his situation in.

The mother was upset for the camera's but I am sure that with no disrespect towards muslims but muslims are well known for being close and if required it would be arranged within the family/freinds for somehow the ransom money to be found. The headteacher of the school said that the school was in shock, well if needed I am sure that the school could contribute an amount. I cannot say what but there is almost something which is strange/does not add up and I hope that whatever is being hidden is uncovered sooner rather than later. I do hope though, regardless of all factors surrounding the child, that he is returned safe and well, and it does not turn into another abduction similar to that of Maddaline Mccan, and 4/5 years later, he remains missing and the question which everybody will no doubt think - What happened to him??? Will he ever be returned to his parents??? Why was he taken??? There are hundereds of questions I could type, hopefully all ends well.
I know we are cynical these days, but the news coverage was so fast and overpowering it did make me think....
That said I hope he is o.k
Yes, news is mostly hyped up but dispite the news, the whole situation is questionable. Just wonder how effective the pakistani police are going to be? Will they interview mother/father, although it may be a good and useful idea for british police to become invovled, and for british police to interview parents. They may be able to determine anything which needs to be determined.

We shall see what happens, especially in the next couple of days. The papers/tele is going to be featuring new/info about this case so we shall see if the police do take any action....
Also, hopefully the parents/extended family are not as sick/evil/backwards as Shannon Mattheww's. Although some parts of information which I hear does make me wonder, sad as it is.
They've made a few arrests....that was quick..!!!
I think that there is a very strong possiblity that the arrest's made are to make it appear progress into the case is being made however, I still strongly think that all the circumstances surrounding this lad's "abduction" are extremely suspsious and that the father certianlly is very much invovled in the details and organisation.
If that had been my son they would have to kill me before Iwould let them take my son seems to me the father is involved watching him last night on the news.
That's what I meant by 'quick'

That...or the kidnappers are not clued up....as in like an amateur...as in a family member...

Nicking mobile phones and then using them..!!!! only a novice would do that...
Seems our suspicions 'may' have been right:

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought it was a set up!
Problem is if some poor kid really is kidnapped nobody will believe it.
Those involved should be locked up for a long time.
