"Fight against them until idolatry is no more and Allah's religion reigns supreme. Fight them until there is no persecution and the religion is God's entirely. - Sura 2:193 and 8:39"

It seems pretty clear that Islam is the enemy of the world so how far will the "Infidel" let it get before reacting?

An entire group has taken on the rantings of a paedophile nutter and seem intent on imposing the parameters of this "religion"

Will it be much more difficult when we finally wake up? can we "nip it in the bud" now?
Do we have a "Chamberlain" moment happenning? Is there a threat?

I have given all the answer to all the questions to birdie's quotations. And of course Naomi.s too. So without wasting my time and that of the others. Let's comde out of war of the words and I would agree with birdie's everything if he answers my one question that I have asked him before.

If that is what quran says, then why not even 1% of 1.8 billion muslims are doing that? where according to birdie Muslims take everything literally whatever quran says.
what have you got against islam...u know who u r........its an obsession on ab...there are very very good muslims on this world as well, no one says anything positive about the good things that come from islam...........
Hi Keyplus,

Your question as to why, “... not even 1% of 1.8 billion Muslims are doing that [horrible things to non-Muslims]” is a very good question.

As I have stated many, many times, I do not believe that all Muslims are bad people. In fact, I believe that 99% of them are absolutely fine. The problem with religion (and Islam in particular) is that it always believes it is right. It is not the only religion to promote this. Christianity certainly has a track record in believing that it is right and consequently has many millions of pints of blood on it's hands as a result.

I do not believe in God. I'm sure you are aware of this. I do, however, believe in people. That is to say, I believe that 99% of people are decent, good and moral individuals. Unfortunately, the remaining 1% utterly screw it up for the others.

Christianity (in my opinion) is bad news. But Islam really takes the biscuit.

Why? ....
Continued...

Because it is the only religion that specifically states that it's most Holy scripture is the LITERAL WORD OF GOD. Sorry to 'shout', but it needs pointing out.

When a passage in the Bible says something like, “.... and God destroyed 'X, Y and Z' because of immorality, etc...” no one really believes that that particular event actually took place (okay, some might - but some people will believe anything, no matter how illogical and/or impossible).

However, when we look at the Quran, every Muslim schoolboy or schoolgirl is told that every single word in this book is the word of God Himself. Therefore, you cannot modify or reinterpret what is written – it is what it is. It is immutable.

Islamic quotes can never be taken out of context because of the very 'fact' that God has written them. And as God is both Omnipresent and Omnipotent, He knows exactly how His quotes were, will be and shall be, interpreted.

And like it or not, there are some pretty unpleasant passages in these sacred pages that many people who have been raised as 'Muslims' find pretty unpalatable. Without revisiting old ground, I think it's fair to say that both you and I have words about Mohammed's choice of brides.

Emigrated have we?
I've not read any answers but I will after I write this, but what I will say is that I cannot fathom how in this, the 21st century, people still run their lives based on a fairytale with absolutely nothing to base it on other than hearsay and conjecture. Seriously, I mean absolutely seriously, have you, personally sat down and thought about the fact of a being up there doing something over us? A thing/being somewhere looking at you now, watching you? To me it sounds silly.
Keyplus, you've never given answers to my comment about breaking oaths, because I don't believe I've ever mentioned it before.

I don't think people would be so suspicious of Islam if we saw considerable numbers of the 99% of decent Muslims protesting against the atrocities committed in the name of Allah - but we don't.
quran promotes peace, respect, forgiveness etc who says quran does not promote peace
yet once again Naomi. I don't thionk its only me. I am very sure that no one ever answers you questions.

And we all know why.....
Keyplus, You said you'd answered my question, but I haven't asked a question and I was simply clarifying that.
Suzie1 – Sorry, but I believe the complete opposite. Any belief system that can be used to brainwash boys and girls, men and women, to strap bombs to themselves, walk into a crowd of 'non-believers' and detonate said explosives therefore killing both themselves and many others is not a belief system that any rational person could or should describe as promoting peace.

I know I've posted this quote before, but I think it needs repeating...

“With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.” - Steven Weinberg
Also, if Islam is so concerned about spreading peace and love, why is the most commendable act in this religion to kill yourself fighting Jihad?

Seems to me that Islam has an obsession with death. Rather than describe Islam as a religion of peace, I think it's far more accurate to describe Islam as a religion of death.
its not the qurans fault that people have used it to brainwash people, have you ever read it, how do you know what the quran says...just by looking at news links and reading quotes etc, you think you know the quran, just coz some muslims have took advantage of the quran and used it as an excuse to do stupid things, it dont mean the quran is not good, read it and u'll know what i mean. the muslims, christians, jews who take life are bad people and should burn in hell...........i dont agree with suicide bombers or anything of the sort that would take other peoples life.
Hi suzie1 –

Did you know that the Quran was written by scribes who 'quoted' Mohammad whenever he went into a trance? The Quran was compiled after his death and to describe it as disjointed is a massive understatement.

As a mixture of Arabian paganism, Jewish mysticism, and Christian writings, the Quran contradicts itself several times. As a result, many Islamic scholars have tried to make sense of the many illogical and sometimes frankly ludicrous passages.

That is why the Hadiths were written – to try and clarify many of the clear contradictions and nonsense written in the Islamic Holy book and to try to put the book into some sort of chronological order.

In answer to your question, yes I have read the Quran. However, having read it, I did not think, “Wow! What a great book!”.

I actually thought, “What??? People actually believe this complete and utter nonsense?”
well thats your opinion, god help you!!!!! i dont see it as nonsense though. wats your religion, if you dont mind me asking
“God help you!!!”

Thanks for that.

I do not have a religion. I am an atheist. I am however, extremely interested in all religions and why people 'choose' to believe that there is a supernatural entity watching over them and why they think that said entity, being capable of creating an entire universe, would bother with them specifically.

Did God create Man or did Man create God?

I believe it is the latter.
the former
'its not the qurans fault that people have used it to brainwash people'.

Classic!
Suzie, just out of interest, what do you think of the Koran's advice on the way women should be treated?
