But the practise of reporting a CBer just because you don't happen to be on their radar?
Spare Ed, it would be much fairer to have the post viewed by your team and for you to make the final desicion whether or not it should be removed,
Ok, there are the ones that are vile and have to be removed asap, but some people I think, get a kick out of reporting others (saddo's)
Is a post automatically removed after a 'report'?
If I ever had to report anyone...I would tell them I was doing it! How many of have checked our profile and thought' "What was removed, and why?"

here here fo the queen xxxx
your not on nice people of ab anymore i have been told bobbi is this so???
I think my answers have been removed because they were on a thread that got zapped, not because I have been reported. But I might be wrong LOL
do people still report ? it seems such a faff.
Any posts that are reported are viewed by the Ed and it's their decision if it's removed or not, no posts are automatically removed just because they have been reported by X amount of people.

I've had 1 question removed and 29 answers in total (from over 10500) and I know almost all the removed answers are because the entire thread has been removed (about half of the 29 where on the swearing test thread a little while ago)
I'll report if think it needs reporting. Not often though.

you were told right zee pet
I know answers do go when the thread is removed for whatever reason rinks, I suppose thats unavoidable
Ankou I am sure it happens, faff or not,
some people enjoy doing it!

you mean when you sit typing vibra, there are no signals spinning around you, you are losing out pet...winks!
thats a shame bobbi i put up a happty birthday post for you yesterday can i ask why not?
I report Man-On-The-Top-Of-The-Clapham-Omnibus as a matter of course............
And will continue to do so.
I have reported posts/threads......but I always say I'm reporting it and why.....
couldn't the Ed's consider removing a post only after the the reporter has posted who and why they have reported them ? Obviously,as you say, the vile ones should be removed asap.
that's you and dabees then jack......
Question Author
I will let you know zee, ok

that is precisley my point craft and jack, decent folk don't go behind backs, and you haven't
Depends what they have said. If it's pretty obvious why they are being reported (calling people paedo's etc) then I probably wouldn't bother letting them know. I rarely report though...
I'm sure there are more, craft..............
Dabees and I are quite upfront about it. Perhaps others, less so.
vulcan when you report someone you have to type in a reason.....it's not just a click of the mouse...
I report posts that are abusive or advertising,or contain links to innapropriate material (porn etc).I always tell the person that I have reported them...Sqad can vouch for that ;-)
when you report you have to state a reason why you are reporting by ticking a category box then typing a reason you think it is breaking rules, so if people are reporting for no good reason over and over, i think the Ed would deal with the reporter in some way
