wouldnt it be great if men had a bit of victorian charm about them, opened doors tipped their hat as you went by, and got you smelling salts if you felt faint , im reading pride and prejudice at the mo..... would loved to have been a victorian laydeeeee of wealth... what period of time would you of liked to have lived?

i would have managed to live quite well in Tudor times when women were quite powerful.

na not the 60s my parents bored me to deth growing up telling me how great it was sorry mum and dad but it was tedious at times

more independant the clothes were less resticted it must of been exiting to see films at cinemas for the first time, music got better more women went out to work, get all this info from a lady i look after as a carer who is now 104 and was living her youth in this era , and shes still as bright as a button
