Get the priorities right first

Why do we spend countless millons of pounds developing an aircraft such as this, so as to protect this Dam, when our forces in Afghanistan, are forced to buy American desert boots, (because the British one's are not up to standard).,there are not enough bullet proof vests to go round, and their vehicles are not armored sufficiently?

"Can I cut and paste that for any further question you post?"

It feels like you already do.

Abdulmajid, I agree with you partly, but I hope you don't mind I have edited your post.

But in reality they can be answered by a single answer, whatever their subject matter.

And that is (words to the effect of)

...................It is because this foul Labour Government have turned Great Britain in to a complete and utter mess.

A country too concerned with political correctness and pungent human rights to do any real good. A country so obsessed with the rights of minorities that they get a better deal than the majority. A country so obsessed with opening up community centres for fighting for the Ubekistani rainforests, that it is blinkered by what is really happening to its people, including our heroic troops abroad.

A country so far away from reality on the streets that it thinks a few posh words from it strangled police force and another community centre will solve all the problems of inner-city black gun, knife and drug crime.

A country which gives terrorist, paedophiles and thugs in better condition than it does its own citizens.

A country which is the laughing stock of the middle east.

I think this would have been alot better way to get your message over Abdulmajid, You sound too much like the nasty Left, the way it was.

Now then Glass half Empty........

The answer to your question is........

Because we live in a far from perfect world.

I suspect that even if we did you'd still find summink to complain abaht, or rather the Daily Mail would find somthing that you could regurgitate.

The Daily Mail will always be relied upon to poke holes in what should be simple things to get right, whilst lambasting large sums of 'extravagent expenditure'.
Trying looking on the bright side - there is no expensive pilot to be trained or shot down.
Then give up reading the damn Rag and buy a decent paper.

I know it is raining, and you are most likley 'rained off' , from passing your more skilled mate his bricks, but when are you leffties going to get your heads out of the sand?

You are that busy trying to tear the Daily Mail into shreds, that you can't read what is a genuine and true report on something that has happened, not something they have made up.

RAF show off 'killer' drone aircraft which will help protect major dam in Afghanistan

TRUE, TRUE, TRUE------------------------

If you must criticize anyone, criticize me for putting my slant on the report, which I believe is a reasonable slant.

Yes you are right I suppose I would still have something to complain about, your abysmal spelling for starters.

I don't know why you insist on criticising people's spelling, AOG. It's really cheap.

It's also stupid, given your standard of written English. (Never mind the fact that he was clearly writing in a cockney accent.)

Your punctuation is crazy, by the way.

Thanks Quinlad.

Glass Half Empty - I always imagine you as an Alf Garnet type character, hence the cockney 'summink' & 'abaht'.

Try to put together a rational argument rather than criticising someone for apparently poor English. Have a look at the word 'Hippocritical'.
