You can have one as being proud of someone else for something but give something you are proud of yourself that relates to you too.

My son.
I understood the title but the main part of the question :s
My CSE woodwork Grade 4!!!!

I was faced with a horrible childhood, a bad school and was basically deemed a failure before I even sat an exam.

In the face of this adversity, I succeeded in woodwork where better mortals have failed.

I have never used my qualification-the end of the day it is hardly a degree in nuclear science is it? But it is my CSE Grade 4, and nobody can ever take that away from me.

Sorry, was having a bit of a moment ;)

Was trying to get people to say what they're proud of that they have done rather than just telling of someone else they are proud of.

Does that make any more sense?
Ah yeah ok, that does! I will change my reply to me then - for bringing up my son on my own! xxx
Aww, helliebobs, that's a real achievement. Well done you.

I don't have many achievements on the "proud of" list.

I'm quite proud of my butt. Does that count?
For not eating animals, for achieving my degrees in the face of some serious opposition from family, for giving up weed, for getting my IOSHH, for teaching myself Unix and DOS, for building this computer, for not panicking back in 2005, for working for the same company for over 21 years and still loving the work....
i was really proud of for self funding myself to complete my study in ireland and uk (fees for overseas students are incredible high), but i still havnt got chance to use my qualifications to get a proper job yet, so dont feel that proud now:((((
For passing my driving test first time.
