Why Katie, what happened??!!

Did you get dungeoned again!!

I noticed yesterday one of your posts disappeared!!
Question Author
Yes and when I rang them outraged they said it was happening to a couple of people. I thought it may have been because of the socks and people not agreeing that it wasnt ecological of me lol! Anyway I complained, strongly, and told them I wanted to a Manager to ring me back, NOT Amanda but a Manager. They de-registered me and set me back up and said I hadnt done anything to be dungeoned.

Phew.

Donnakebab,
Earnestly seeking after knowledge. What does one do
to merit being dungeoned? I joined on 3rd March, and have
studied in some details the posts available. There seems to be no bar on language, and the subjects under discussion seem far-ranging with no censorship,
so what causes this penalty. Can you help?
Thanks.

Legend - I realise that most of Katie's posts are put up to amuse rather than inform.............I'm just not sure why you are having such a problem with her..........

If absolute truth-telling were a condition on here, I think there would only be a couple of very earnest and probably quite boring contributers allowed.................

I don't know Katie in real life.............

But I take her posts with a large handful of salt and see that often she has her tongue stuck firmly in her cheek.

I find her no more irritating than many and less irritating than quite a few others.

I have noticed, though, that she really seems to have got your back up and I can't see why she has provoked such a strong response in you, that's all.

Monkey Eyes. What an intellectual you are ! To amuse is fun - a little like friendship - to give without remembering and to take without forgetting! A comedian/comedienne will NOT leave the stage whilst his or her audience are still laughing.

The story of the user name incidenty is true I can ashamedly admit.

Legend. In what line of business do you persue exactly ? Is you business sucessful? I do hope so. I suspect you employ a plethora of staff to run the same since you are able to enjoy being on ChatterBank for most of the day.

Well done you. !!!!!!! the art of good management is DELEGATION !!!!!

Appreciations again Monkey. and for you Legend, My love as always.

Strangely enough, Legend, and whilst I admit that I haven't seen the whole story regarding Katies username, I can believe the parts which you have posted.

The police in Blackpool are very over-stretched (as well as being mainly inefficient and ineffectual) and would probably have welcomed the fact that the incident was dealt with 'off the books'. I would imagine it was seen as an equitable remedy and an old-fashioned solution to a problem.

The 'damage' was caused to the Kebab shop/owner and therefore the 'remedy' should have been wholly applied to them. The fact that the Kebab shop owner accepted this 'remedy' would have been a satisfactory as far as the boys in blue are concerned.............

Of course, I may be wrong..............
