To the Police. After the Umpteenth break in of Liverpool players when playing away -for staking out Gerrards house and catching the burglars. So obvious but they would rather complain about their wages than, actually, earn them.

They caught burglars?
how did they do that? did the burglars have a dodgy rear light, or out of date tax disc?
So you expect the Police to sit around outside every Liverpool players house every time they play away in the off chance the house gets burgled.

Sounds like a terrible use of their time if you ask me.

I guess you were being sarcastic, no mention of them catching the burglers.

They are probably disgruntled Everton fans.

The job of the police is to catch criminals. Liverpool players have been targeted by burglars when they have been out of the country playing matches. Gerrard was the sixth incident. Previous incidents have been publicised. It does not seem like a waste of resources to divert routine patrols past vulnerable properties.

Obviously the Police make no revenue for the government out of catching burglars.

It would be a total waste of time and money for them to do such work.
With all the zillions these chaps earn, why don't they hire private security?
What do they expect with the WAGs flaunting it and the guys with their Lexus cars. In Geoff Hurst's day players were limited to 20 per week...I bet he had no breakins!
I agree completely with Delboy3! They have the money to protect their money/assets, so why don't they? Or do they expect the fans to fund that too?
