Britain In Danger Of Turning Into Nazi Germany?

To quote... "What you had in the 1930s was all sorts of popular fictions were spread about the Jewish community that they were responsible for all ills that were occurring to Germany.
"They were made into folk-devils, and I think there is a danger that the word Muslim in the UK is becoming synonymous with bad news."
As a Jew I find this a rather insulting comparrison. The Jews weren't going around bombing innocent German civilians in the name of religion for a start.
By all means tell me I'm being over sensitive, I'm open to all opinions, but am I the only person who finds this over dramatic? It's ok for them to turn a blind eye to terror in the UK but don't make them feel uncomfortable about it?

neither are 99.99% per cent of Muslims bombing innocent civilians. The sensible goal would be to target not Muslims but young males. Young males - all races, colours and creeds - are responsible for by the far the most crime. Locking them all up until the ageof 30 would cut offending dramatically. Make sense?

1165 arrests under the Terrorism Act 2000
63 arrests under legislation other than the Terrorism Act, where the investigation was conducted as a terrorist investigation
Of the total 1228 arrested there have been:

I'm not muslim and I'm not Jewish but I can see where his comparison has foundation. I have Jewish and Muslim and Christrian friends and the only ones I know that encounter racism are the young muslim males. How are they turning a blind eye to terrorism? I presume by this you mean the muslim community. It doesnt really make the news when muslims stand up to terroist acts or denounce them.

It does not matter one jot how many are NOT involved but how many ARE involved.
It only takes a handful of people to plant bombs on trains to cause carnage as we saw a couple of years ago.
Years ago, when the Yorkshire Ripper (one single male) was out out killing woman on the streets at night women in the area were terrified to go out.
If ONE person can cause that much panic, and five men in tube trains can cause that much carnage, then we have a right to be scared even it is just 50 people involved in terrorism.
If EVERY Muslim left this country then you would certainly hear the cheer all over this country. I would certainly give a huge cheer.

Maybe you should mix muslims a bit more then Brionon, or possibly read a decent newspaper every now and then.
I hope you would cheer the loudest then VHG when the Iraqi muslims, who put their lives on the line to help our servicemen, go back and get murdered for having done so.

As has already been stated, muslims coming out against the terror of a minority does not sell newspapers. Sensationalism and fear mongering however apparently does.
As for the likeness to britain and nazi germany, well that's just another extreme. There are some t1theads out there both british and muslim and some of them are violent and vile. However, most are not and most just want to carry on doing the mundane things like the weekly shop and putting the rubbish out without having some media hype shoved in our faces.

I am not Jewish myself but was brought up in a predominantly Jewish area of North London and my school had a very high percentage of Jewish boys.
Funny, that both politics and religion just wasn't mentioned. Why?? Because although the Jews have their own customs, diet, sabbath etc which, on the face of it can be as equally as alienating to a "Christian" or general English person as a muslim can, the Jews intergrated well, ALL spoke English (even the Polish and Israeli ones) and were generally very nice warm people. Unlike muslims, they held no ill will to anyone, even towards Arabs! And their values (different to their aforementioned customs) are very similar to the British way of life.
So yes I was offended by the man I saw on TV harping on.
The irony is, whatever comparasion he made with British muslims and the plight of the Jews, any decent and intelligent person would liken muslims more to the actual Nazis.

2) They want a master race (not blonde hair, blue eyes) but want the world to worship their vicious faith
3) They want uniformity (customary dress and dalek-style burkas)
4) They think they are special
5) They hate and kill homosexuals
6) The religion is the cause of mass asylum migration
7) Hitlers relentless belief in the Holy Grail is like their belief in martydom
8) They want a centralised system where politics meets religion just like the Furhrer.
9) Hitler Youth with its indoctrination is like the baseball cap wearing Arab and Asian youth that think it is cool to worship some barbaric faith.
So yes, I can easily liken muslims with holocaust era Germany, but unlike that man, I am afraid the muslims are the Nazis and not the innocent Jews.

There's certainly a resentment toward muslims in the UK which might be comparable to that of Weimar Germans ('stealing our jobs' etc.) but it's an incredibly over-simplistic comparison to make. For instance bear in mind that Weimar Germany was caught in the hardship of the Great Depression, and also suffered the national humiliation brought by the Versailles treaty to name just two colossal differences. The UK has no problems or conditions which bear an even remote comparison to those which gave rise to the Nazi party. To do so is frankly laughable.
Mr Muhammad Abdul Bari's comparison can only be insulting, if you think the Muslim community is somehow culpable for terrorism. If you do, then that would tend to prove what he is saying as correct.
You only have to read the news section of this forum to see evidence that quite a few people blame all of our country's ills on Muslims. The propaganda techniques used in Germany had the same aim, to demonise the Jews, so as a general comparison of a community being disproportionately blamed for everything that is bad, the comparison works.

I'm also Jewish, and as I see it, this country is heading for one of two evils, I think it'll either become a state similar to Stalins Russia, or a Muslim state.
Its been stated that its only a small number of Muslims creating problems, true, but that small number is changing the face of Britain.
