There's been so many bad news items today like the young lad 'Gordon Gentle '19 who served in Iraq, his death needn't have happened had he been given the right equipment to protect himself.

A man found dead on a bonfire in Merseyside, supposedly murdered by youths who filmed the attack on a mobile? Sometimes you just want to lock yourself away.

liverpoool seems to be descending into hell
what with the boy shot outside the pub noone caught yet .
now beating a guyb to death and burning him ??

the shooting is a sad fact of life i think every week or so round the world theres some shooting outrage .

and as for the guy in iraq im sorry he didnt have the equipment , but that aside i disagree with his mother rose and other mothers of soldiers.
joining the army you risk death.
its part of the job im afraid.

Yes, you risk death, but not giving them the best equipment available is criminal !

iagree about the equipment.
but iraq or afghanistan if youre in the army people will be shooting at you.
i think itrs changed days.
mothers have to realise if your son joins up .
its not the scouts.
they kill and they get killed.
how many were killed in northern ireland?

like i say .
if you wanna lessen the chance of being shot or blown up dont join the army.

oh and dont live in england either.
scotland might be colder but its a damn sight safer btw
