Off holidaying in Derbyshire again soon. We love it. Managed to book a wonderful old house with lots of history, but we'll be close to Belper this time. Are there any decent places/activities for 10 & 12 year old children? Done all the usual places like the Heights of Abraham, Alton Towers, stately homes, etc., but we need something which doesn't entail a lot of walking this time, as we have a disabled child in tow. Any local riding stables or haunted castles, etc., which might keep little ones amused? Thanks!
