Now that a court has ordered the arrest of Thaksin, what happens next if the Thai authorities make an extradition request? Is there a defined procedure to determine the merits of extradition and if so, what is it. I recall the Pinochet issue where extradition was refused, but cannot remember the details.

The military coup in September last year overthrew the democatically elected Shinawatra and installed a Junta to lead the country. The British Government is unlikely to recognise the validity of the Military leaders and would not extradite him has he couldn't be guaranteed a fair trial.

Could maybe get him locked up for insanity though, for buying City.
LoL, quality.
