I've got a 7 year old bay tree in my garden. I've noticed recently alot of the leaves are brown, shrivelled and dying. I can see what appears to be some sort of webbing on alot of the leaves and many are of the leaves ar also eaten.
Is there anyone who can suggest what this might be and how I can rid of it?
Many thanks

It sounds like tortrix moth caterpillars - if you can see them the best thing is to squash them.
However if there are too many for that & you don't object using chemicals apparently you'll need something containing permethrin or pirimiphos-methyl, whatever that is!
(had to look up the remedy for this one as I don't use chemicals)
