Poorly thumb!

Hi All

I know it sounds a bit trivial, but for the last week I have had ever such a sore left thumb. I haven't got as much mobility in it as the other and I can neither bend it, or move it back as far as the other, although I can move it freely. I can't remember doing any trauma to it. It kinda feels like it needs to 'click'. I don't really want to waste my gp's time with something so small.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I should do!

Thanks

You probably did something that jarred the joint, and it takes more than a week to recover.

I know what the doc will say if you go in. Rest it.
