I suspect you might mean identical multiple births.
The armadillo always has identical young but there are usually four, not two.
Quite right, wildwood. The armadillo always has a litter of four, two of which are identical twins.

This is a trivial piece of information which I remember from hundreds of years ago, along with the really interesting fact that the highest gradient on the Eastern Region of British Rail is between Bishopsgate and Bethnal Green, rising towards Bethnal Green.
