I loved George Michael.  Saw him a couple of times - Wembley Arena and Plymouth a few months later.  I love his more obscure songs as well (Going To A Town)  There is nobody else like him

I loved George Michael too.  What a brilliant singer !

I loved his version of the Stevie Wonder song They won't go when I go.  I thought that of all his songs, that was the one that showed his voice off the best.

He was a peerless vocalist and a wonderful writer.

The world of music is poorer for his absence.

There are those singers  that are unique and he is one!

I haven't seen it, however his vocals at the 'Freddie Mercury tribute concert' singing 'Somebody to love' is one of the best versions I've ever heard. (it were released as a single) and I do believe apart from Freddie, he were singing to his gay partner who was in the crowd at the time.

I think his partner had died just before he sang at the Queen concert which must have been very hard for him

And George Harrison as well.  The quiet Beatle who was so talented.

Never liked Wham but when GM released this, i realised what a bloody good singer he really was.

We watched it too - so talented. what a loss.

Ken, different corner... such a beautiful song... I couldn't remember what it was called.

So much musical talent gone before their time - I would add to those already covered Karen Carpenter, John Lennon, Buddy Holly, Olivia Newton John, Michael Jackson, to name just a few.

Canary... I'd like to but sadly add Michael Hutchence

He was a favourite of mine too - so versatile.

Saw him way back in 1986 at Wembley. It was a concert for The Prince's Trust. He was on stage with Tina Turner, Elton on piano and Phil Collins in drums. What a show. Fantastic. Loved loved loved George Michael.
