Gulliver and Beer Warmer must be delighted at the prospect of the new 'Scarcely Noticed Party' as it retreats to the Islands, well may be some of them.

That's you in the running for best answer, davebro.

So much to unpack there.
@15.54.The Civil War in the SNP has been ongoing since they enabled and voted in and on the behalf of Margaret Thatcher back in 1979.And the Thatcher enablers have done nothing since then but moan about Thatcher. The SNP voted for Thatcherism, let them live with it.
bring back Alex!
You know, reading your post at 16.03 I'm beginning to think you don't like the SNP very much.
Got it in one, persy.Nationalism is never a pretty sight.
No, but if you see comments like Davebro's, you can see why some people are pushed in that direction.
I wonder how much his promise to make Scotland a republic after independence will affect the independence vote (when he gets one).
guess what.....

....Labour are calling for a GE! Noooo! where have we heard that before?!
Probably any time a ruling party changed leader mid-term
@16.17.Nae chance.More chance me going out and campaigning for the Thatcher Enablers than Scotland being a republic in the next 200 years.
doug he's not the "interim" leader he's the leader end of. What is interim about it? He'll be leader until he's not.
The way things are going in the ongoing Civil War in the SNP,i will go with Dougie on this one,3T.Like rats....sorry,ferrets in a sack.
The man won.

At least give him a chance.

Just seen his speech, he's a Sturgeonite, obsessed with leaving the UK rather than getting on with the many problems that need looking at.
Blackford is on the TV now talking about being an independent country "back" in the EUSSR! PMSL! you won't be independent then! derr! well assuming they let them in!
A joint "spokesperson" for Yousaf and Sunak somewhere is whispering "we look forward to working together diligently, with the aim of effecting the partition of the outdated entity called UK".
