Dani Alves Has Been Accused Of Rape!

who is he? he is a brazilian footballer.
Apparently he has been accused of rape in a Barcelona nightclub.
What doesn´t make sense is if he is guilty why did he return to Spain after returning to South America. where he couldnt be charged or if he could it would be a tad complicated.
His side of the story is he had to return to Spain to attend his MIL´s funeral, and whilst he was in Spain he voluntarily went to the police to answer a few questions.

It says the victim has declined compensation. Spanish legal system ( derecho) may allow a civil claim to be tacked onto a criminal action. In which case she has said no thanks.
