The Westminster MPs are MPs for a UK constituency yet I have never heard an SNP MP talk about any issues beyond Scotland. Today's debate is a case in point, every single Scottish MP started with "Scotland.....yada yada...." etc, the rest don't do that.

Well yes, I know a fair few.

But its the old Vegan syndrome, the loud ones just cant help mentioning it within 30 seconds of meeting them.

And its the loud minority that get noticed. Same as ever.
I'll see your Scotland and raise you an EUSSR with a side bet of Boris.
Isn't it the duty of every MP, irrespective of party allegiances, to represent their own constituents? That's what they were elected to do!

"Isn't it the duty of every MP, irrespective of party allegiances, to represent their own constituents? That's what they were elected to do! " - yes so mention the constituency if it's relevant not the country, you never hear an English MP do that.
Do you have a link to the News story you wish to discuss?
"I have never heard an SNP MP talk about any issues beyond Scotland"

Would you not be mumping if they intervened in matters affecting only England?

They are wanting to be independent from the rest of the UK so it makes sense to emphasise any negative impact the actions of the UK government have upon Scotland.
They are over represented, sooner they are gone the better.
'perceived negative impact' might be better.
That is your perception...
Any chance of a link? You generally pester others for one?
How on earth are we supposed to know what it is you’re wittering on about without a link to this breaking news story? Lol
There's an English bloke on here who spends most of his time going on about Scotland (and almost as much ranting about the EU).
:-)
Link Please.
In all honesty- I know countless Scottish (and Irish) people who have moved down this way out of choice. And even though their actions say it all- they do often pretend that they prefer their "homeland" while blatantly not wanting to live there... because they prefer here....
It does seem that Scottish people sometimes, have no concern about anyone but themselves. And I am saying that from people I know personally- as well as the obvious posts on AB.
//They are wanting to be independent from the rest of the UK //

They don't, TCL. They were formally asked- and said no!

…..but that was going to be on the proviso that Brexit wasn’t foisted on them. They voted remain on that, didn’t they?
What happened to the sunlit uplands? Can’t see them for sewage on the beaches!
Where are the promised trade deals? Missing, like a PM at an urgent Parliamentary question! Lol
What proviso? As far as I’m aware there was no suggestion of an EU referendum when the Scots voted against independence.
I disagree naomi24. Lol
That’s nothing to do with a ‘proviso’ that existed at the time of the Scottish referendum. You’re short on comprehension again.
Is Tora capable of saying anything that isn't abusive towards at least one group of people?
