Just meandering yesterday both physically and mentally and wondered if there would be as much litter thrown from cars if we didn't have electric windows?

There would be even less if we didn't have cars.
er - I dunno but I think it wouldn't make any difference. *** are *** whether they have electric or not.

No.

There was just as much rubbish if not more when I was a kid.

That's because you've grown up and know better, YMF :-)
If you want to talk to somebody who is sat inside a car (and you are outside) how do you signal to them to open the window?
Young: Quite agree. The pavements were also full of doggie doo-doos. It's better now.
There would be a lot more litter if we all had convertible cars tho, eh!
No there wouldn't - an open top makes an ideal dustbin if you happen to be passing :D
Good point.
It appears to be more of a problem at night, dash cams in the day tend to pick up offenders, or potential offenders are less likely to do it because of the number of people with dash cams.
The main piles of rubbish tend to be on the corners of road junctions as they turn out goes the junk, no one behind them to see.
And usually around 12 mins drive from a Maccy D’s!
9 times out of 10 it is a Maccy. I can only assume the so called meal was disappointing because the crows are having a ball the next day.
It used to be piles of fag ends in the gutter.
^Very true I think the fag ends quickly get scooped up should there be a few drags left to have. At £10 a packet very valuable fag ends. ( I'm guessing at the price)
I do see a lot of the happy crack vials in a pile in the gutter outside a pub near me. The pub could be coincidental.
Small silver gas containers about 2 inches long seem to be the new gutter butt? Do they sniff these?
Depends how old they are, Barry.
i think so yes electric windows make it easy to pop them down
