So instead of a handful of people who knew who she was, it will now be millions?

She cannot be serious !
As she was allowed to return to the game, that would appear to support her claim so why should she not sue him?
She'll give the money to charity if she wins.

> So instead of a handful of people who knew who she was, it will now be millions?

Given that she had a front row seat at the Wimbledon men's final, she's probably very well connected and this has been embarrassing for her in her circles. The millions don't matter, it's the handful that do. If she thinks she has a case, go for it.
As CORBY says.
Good on her, the stroppy 'little boy' ought to learn that such petulant behaviour isn't kosher in wider society. Does it stem from his mother having been this Malaysian princess and giving him to much slack/leeway when young as I believe such behaviour has been continually persistent in his career? It's a shame that he does behave like this as he certainly has talent....he almost puts John McEnroe in his heyday look saintly.

I think that sums up the situation admirably.

This lady is willing to take on a man who has heaven-sent talents as a tennis player giving him wealth and fame, coupled with the mental age of a nine-year-old and the nasty personality of an over-indulged brat.

A lesson in reality will do him no harm at all.
I don't think the lawyers will be giving their fees to charity.

A symptom of present day society and as our most famous would would have uttered...."much ado about nothing."

Nor, I am sure you would agree, should they be expected to do.

Professional services are just that, and should be remunerated at the going rate, for disposal as the receiver sees fit, the circumstances having nothing to do with it.

I cannot agree.

This lady rightly feels that her reputation has been trashed in public by a rude arrogant stranger, and she has the means and the will to redress it.

I'm entirely on her side, I hope she is successful.
Unless I've got the wrong end of the stick here - I'm not a great fan of tennis - why pick on her? She must have been doing something. Perhaps another with pound signs in her eyes.
think she was being particularly vocal during the games, which is frowned upon at wimbledon . . .
naomi...Kyrgios alleges that she interupted his serves by making comments at the very point of his serving ,right up until his moment of verbal reply.

Since the lady has already advised that if she wins she will donate her payout to charity, why would she have 'pound signs' in her eyes?

Or is your urge to be cynical inhibiting your ability to read the thread before you post?

Then protocol dictates that the umpire advises the spectator to refrain from distracting the players.

It is not for players to be abusive to individual spectators.
A-H good point, but how do we know or indeed guarantee, that that is what she will do?
AH, no need to be rude. I read the thread - and the link. If she was disrupting his concentration she deserved to be thrown out. As far as I can see she's the author of her own misfortune and I hope when the case goes to a court of law she's thrown out of that one too.
She's an ambulance chaser in her profession, not hard to see her motivation.
//Since the lady has already advised that if she wins she will donate her payout to charity//

Virginia Giuffre said that too. She's considerably wealthier now though.

Leaving aside the rights and wrongs of the case, your reference to 'pound signs in her eyes' was clearly derogatory and inaccurate, so if you did read the thread, it appears you didn't retain the information posted by ellipisis at 18.04.
naomi.......the case will not revolve around her behaviour to him, but to his comments in reply.......allegedly slanderous.

Did she e-mail you her bank statements, or pass them over when you were having coffee?
