Donald Trump, can't see how he can lose. Biden is yesterday's man, i don't like either by the way
Trump-Biden comes over as a snake oil salesman.
Regretably, I think it may well be Trump. Just because there is no real opposition. I find the attitude of a great deal of Americans unbelievable. In so many ways the USA is living in the past with the same mentality of the first settlers. It's a backward nation, yet they still celebrate their 'greatness'.
I'd assume that Trump can lose by getting significantly fewer votes than Biden, and fewer votes in the key states of Pennsylvania, Arizona and a few others.

Whether that will happen remains to be seen. Trump's proved to be nothing if not surprisingly resilient -- and it's more than likely that he'll fight even after the election to claim that he's won, if 2016's "millions who voted illegally" nonsense is anything to go by.
personally i would put my money on Jed Bartlett from The West Wing, best television programme ever on the machinations of the White House.
In as much as there's any predictive power, it's worth pointing out that Trump is the underdog according to most pundits, perhaps because an ecomony that's crashing, 250,000+ excess deaths due to a mishandled pandemic, and the fact that the man is an unlikable bully count against him.
I sincerely hope so Jim.
Hopefully trump will win, if biden win it will be a sad day for America.

Just a reminder, Jim - the question is 'Who's your money on?' This is just a little unofficial poll - not a party political broadcast.
he will still win.
I should say an economy that has crashed -- there are signs for the time being of some semblance of recovery, although it's clearly a precarious one that has left a great many Americans unemployed and facing severe hardship, made worse by the fact that Senate Republicans have preferred to focus on getting their Supreme Court nomination through over organising a recovery package.
Best politic slogan I've seen is DUMP TRUMP. Do hope so. Not keen on Biden but even less keen on Trump.
Personally wouldn't put my money on either. A two-horse race is always short of value and no-one ever got rich because of them.
Just by way of info, though; Biden is best priced 8/15 while Trump is best priced 15/8.
My money is on Biden, then. But even if I'm somewhat sceptical about that, I don't believe that Trump is *certain* to win. Biden is, at the very least, going to outperform Clinton.

But who do you think will get it, Ken?
Jim, see post at 15.22 from the OP.
Mrs sqad..Trump
Mr sqad...Biden by a landslide.

I like the Americans, I like their culture, their attitudes, arrogant ,confident and above all it is a meritocracy.
Many of my mates joined the Brain Drain in the 50's and 60's and although a few are now dead, they never regretted it.

// perhaps because an ecomony that's crashing, //sic ??

The US economy grew at a record 33.1% annual rate during the last business quarter. ಠ_ಠ
Whoever wins it looks,by a few accounts, that it might go off with a bang. Gun sales in Michigan alone has recently gone through the roof and I just can't believe I saw all the boarded up premises in Washington in anticipation of the result.Looks like they are preparing for Armageddon whoever wins. I don't think that Covid is the only pandemic they should worry about.Looks like they loot in the states at the drop of a hat.
I reckon Trump will get in. Biden has threatened too many gun owners and upset the NRA by stating his intentions if he wins. A colossal mistake. That is why certain gun sales are going through the roof over there at the moment.
That's why I corrected myself, Togo. Although a 33.1% growth rate in the third quarter still represents an overall contraction this year, so I don't think we should get that excited yet -- and it still leaves many more people unemployed.
