I bet a return to traditional education values doesn’t catch on. But it should.

Excellent, nice to see a success.

Will it catch on? I doubt it as the education system is full of left wing liberals.
I don’t expect many London Comprehensive Schools have a list of Governors as illustrious a Machaela’s...

Mr Chidi Amadi - He has a wealth of experience in private tuition since 2008.

Suella Braverman – A Barrister for 10 years in London before becoming a Conservative MP.

Pia Decarlucci - Worked in the art world for many years.

Sharon Brittan - Has completed multiple real estate development projects and now advises on investment and asset management.

Mohsin Drabu – An investment banker working for Credit Suisse.

Katie Ashford - Author and Times Education Supplement contributor.

Reverand David Ackerman – A Vicar with a Law Degree.

Iskander Fernandez - A lawyer at a City law firm. Mr Fernandez advises individuals and corporations, both on the national and international stage, on a raft of legal issues.

Jonathan Foreman - Research fellow at the Civitas think tank. Practiced law in New York.

Matthew Godfrey - Worked for global consultancy firm Accenture. Now Deputy Head Teacher at Caterham Independent School in Surrey.

Well Gromit that just goes to show how committed these ‘Illustrious’ Governors are to getting children a descent education.

The background of the governors and financial backers in this instance doesn’t matter a jot as long as they get it right and get results which they have done in spades.

The fact they have got themselves to the Gromit ‘illustrious’ stage is testament to their ability.

Would one rather have no hopers and failures in charge?
I commented on this on a couple of other sites that I look in on now and again. I posted this there. It is perhaps fitting to post it here.

An education system that once provided the means to practice critical thought and the ability to make rational decisions whilst still having compassion and ambition has been replaced by an indoctrination programme. That is why the politicians hated Grammar schools for your children whilst sending their own to them. They designed the new and exciting system to breed future generations of dependent, needy, easily fooled sheeple for the human zoo that they alone are fit to administrate.
