Boys Trapped In Cave

This is turning from the relief of finding the boys to the devastation of one of the rescuers being killed trying to transport oxygen to the boys. I can't begin to imagine how these boys must be feeling right now and their parents too, not to mention all the rescuers risking their lives and their families. How on earth are they going to get them out of there?!

Lets hope they're looking at every diving equipment option and if not adequate for this type of intense diving then specialist gear is being shipped in from elsewhere around the world.

Tiggerblue10, SCUBA equipment and "specialist gear" is pretty much standard everywhere. What is important in this and any situation are the techniques and methods employed in using them.

I know very little about diving or scuba gear so haven't got a clue whats what.

They should get them out, pronto. They are being given scuba lessons and can be “buddied up” with an expert. There are lines already in place to help them along the way.

Unsure how experienced divers manage to lose one of their number like that. Would have thought it the last thing you'd expect to hear. If experts run out of oxygen what chance for those relying on them ?
