Will we see this escalate on to other sports, boxing, Motor Racing, Rah Rah girls, and the Motor Show etc.

All rather OTT imo... as one of the walk on girls said "the world's gone totally mad"
Emmie, so because you don't like it, it should be banned?
// girls have accompanied players to the ocre //

Ocre is a place in Spain.
I said it should be Oche on page 1.
i am not alone in this Danny, so don't try and blame me for being honest.
All women should be chained to the kitchen causing all these problems ;-)

/// The end of sad old men being pervs, I doubt it. ///

That is both generalising and ageist Gromit.
Let's hope so.
The sporting 'spectacle' itself ought to be enough.

Although, I suspect those who enjoy seeing these women will find a way to justify their attendance...

Some won't be happy until all their 'sisters' are walking around in collar ties, tweed jackets and trousers and sensible shoes. Or the other alternative Burkas.

Unless these young ladies are expected to allow men to fondle them as they walk around, and are also expected to disappear upstairs with some of the men, then I can't see what is so wrong.

Not sure whether its the end of anything though.
All in all it is up to the girls/woman to decide what they do.Too much interference from the PC brigade.
Whilst I don't see the actual need for it, I don't think it should be banned. I take massive exception to men telling me what I can and can't do, but also massive exception to other women doing the same. It's very good money doing this sort of work and the vast majority of ladies doing it have no objection to it, so it shouldn't be for anyone else to ban it. I don't like Soap Operas, I think they are an appalling cultural drag down and moronification of the masses but I don't expect anyone to ban them because they are a poor role model just because I don't like it. Same is true of the 'Walk on girls'.
It's not just about the women themselves... I have sons and daughters who i don't want growing up believing women are just there for men's pleasure. The media is overrun with that already. Looking at the bigger picture, attitudes clearly need to change, so- several centuries too late, but it's a start.
Those ladies are not short of double tops are they!

(Is it that sort of comment that the article’s on about?)
Haha they will have to ban The Full Monty now. Who'd have thought that the people of Hull were so sensitive. Perhaps it is the City Of Culture after all. Here puss.

//A stage version of the BBC sitcom Are You Being Served? has reportedly been barred from a theatre after it was considered ‘demeaning to women and outdated’.//
//Playgoers’ artistic director Vine Matfin criticised the decision.
‘When we did Up Pompeii! we tweaked the script and instead of women being scantily clad, we had half-naked lads instead,’ he told the newspaper.
‘The Four Male Strippers also went down well with the ladies of Hull.//

It's all a storm in a teacup or should that be d-cup ( sorry couldn't resist)
I am just wondering why we don't see walk on boys?
It doesn't bother me in the slightest and if the girls are happy doing it, where's the problem ??
"I am just wondering why we don't see walk on boys?"

Some might say the less fanfare around the ladies game the better. :)
There's walk on boys on of all things 8 out of 10 cats does countdown ... stop this ... stop this now! in fact !!!!!

I agree with Kvals posts.

well except this bit ...

'Yes he was very foolish and he could have killed others, but he killed his own daughter a thing he will have to live with for the rest of his life, isn't that bad enough?

Leave Emmerdale street out of this.
