No..... Let's not compare it with other things, let's celebrate the fact that Australia has said that it will allow committed same-sex couples to marry. A very good day, indeed.
Never heard of that expression before but I wouldn't call it that. There's a sizeable proportion of the population who are against gay marriage regardless of their feelings towards homosexuality.
mikey...I agree....I can't express my appreciation and reassurance that the 21 century has endowed upon me, it is certainly a revelation that has left me wondering how i have lived my life.
I am sure that you can relax in the knowledge that Oz is a far away place, of which we know little, and that you stand little chance of being chatted up by a big, hairy, brawny Ocker !
By the way, I am reliably informed by my nephew, who has dual British-Oz citizenship, that there is also such a thing as a female Ocker these days...sounds pretty frightful to me !
pixie...LOL...indeed I can.
I have been thinking......perhaps my affinity for silk underwear in my female partners, was in fact a hidden desire for my personal yearning for dressing up in silk knickers and bra.
Too late for me to change, i shall have to forgo those unfulfilled pleasures.
Morning mikey.
mikey...the Aussies have always been mad.
Back in the 60's the other firm appointed an Australian female registrar on the surgical side and she insisted on changing in the men's operating theatre changing room. She was as coarse in he language, built like a barn door, stripped off into big cotton knickers and sports bra and used OUR toilet. it almost put me off women for good.
Her appointment was only for a year.......
