I remember watching one of those consumer programmes about fitted shoes for little ones. They found the parents were actually better at it than the shoe fitters.

I bought my kids Clarks as their first pair of toddling shoes, after that I got them off the shelf.

My mum would never allow me to have my feet xrayed as she said it wasn’t safe....sensible woman!
I had those tracker shoes with the compass in. I have got very short wide feet and most of the girls’ winter shoes were too narrow for me so I had the boys’ shoes instead. Summer was fine as I had the kind of sandals that were only straps and could be adjusted.
I used to wear their Nature Trek shoes in the 70s and 80s. Best shoes I ever had. Anyone remember them ?
