you don't do it in so many words but it's always in the undercurrent, it's their way etc yada yada whilst they lash someone for the crime of being raped, or lob a gay off a tower block. The merest suggestion of homophobia is met with howls yet the religion of peace goes un criticised for their attitude. Double standards people.

The DUP will be asking for more money for N Ireland's schools and hospitals. That at least is a good thing.
And a public holiday on July 12.

I can't believe I'm sticking up for the DUP, but to be honest some of the claptrap being spouted on here makes them sound comparatively sensible....

You are seeing something I'm not.
I am all for a few jokes at the DUP's expense: I've been making them all my life, and I especially liked the Portadown Times's DUP calendar:
January, February, March, March, March, March, March, March, March, October, November, December.
Great stuff.
So it's all amusing but not a serious debate.

The Conservative Party must move towards the centre. I am one of those Tories very unhappy about a deal with the DUP. Very odd that May said on Friday the Conservative and Unionist Party would govern with the DUP yet today the DUP say there's is no deal and there will be talks nextweek. Nonsensical.
