Mikey....may I ask what you mean by "recognised and taken into account"?

You say that studying her you think she may be unwell......and question whether her present condition is indicative of declining mental health.....

If that is true then I'd be more worried about the people who are closer to her and letting her....well loose really... because that's how it is coming across.....
I don't know any business that would have her as a front woman....even my hair salon wouldn't have her on reception.....that she holds the position she does I find scary.....Gx
Ms. Abbott needs to learn a few basic lessons about front-line politics.

One of the most important lessons is this one –

You will be interviewed often and at length by senior experienced political journalists. These people do their research, they know the figures, and if you even hint that you don’t know what you should, they will eat you alive.

Another lesson is –

You should anticipate in advance the sort of questioning you are going to get, and have your answers ready. Failure to do so makes it look as if you don’t know what you are doing. As a senior shadow cabinet member, this is an image that is the death of your career as a senior politician.

And the last lesson is –

Politics is a sentiment-free zone. Regardless of your notion that you and Jeremy Corbyn are ‘close’ – win or lose this election, you are toast because you are a liability and he is far too prone to gaffing himself to be able to afford to have someone like you around doing it better than he does.

Goodbye Ms. Abbott – it’s been real … or not!
A lot of wisdom in your last point, a-h. I'm impressed. I was expecting you to be defending her to the hilt.
jackdaw - //A lot of wisdom in your last point, a-h. I'm impressed. I was expecting you to be defending her to the hilt. //

Seriously?

I think the woman is seriously out of her depth in front-line politics, as she demonstrates with increasing regularity.

I suspect she will not remain in her post when Jezza has his post-election re-shuffle.

Front-line politics is the same as fame - it's a barbed-wire treadmill. You need to know exactly how to run on it, or it will tear you to pieces.

I know we often don't see eye to eye, but I appreciate your compliment - thank you.
## I realise that won't make me many friends on here, but it doesn't bother me one little bit. ##

Same here Mikey, if its to hot in the kitchen!!!!!!

Thousands of people have high pressure jobs, and get a lot lower salary then her.
She may of course, have been feeling a bit off colour!
Notice earlier on thread, " she was wearing the same cloths as yesterday " ? Ummmm I'm not a psychiatrist, :')
Jeremy Corbyn has said Diane Abbott has done a "good job" in the shadow cabinet, but has refused to commit to appointing her as home secretary if Labour wins.
Can nobody see that the only reason she's around is to ensure the votes of young, impressionable men with their hormones an' that.
douglas - // Can nobody see that the only reason she's around is to ensure the votes of young, impressionable men with their hormones an' that. //

If Mr Corbyn wants to snag the young men with 'hromones', he'd be better enlisting someone like Anna Foxxx for the job!
I still would like to see her on 'Strictly' and witness those two left feet ;-)
Oh yeah that'd be good, agc. She'd be on for weeks, remember Ann Widdecombe.
you lot arent being very kind to an ill woman
-- answer removed --
Christ! Don't give her any conundrums!!
Can we stop it with the 'illness' excuse. She's a dumbwit whose has only attained her position because a Labour leader, who nobody wanted, has had to assemble a raggle taggle shadow cabinet made up of cast offs and has beens.
'Diane, ok over to you, can you tell us how you arrive at that figure'?
Can I have a consonant please Diane

Yes of course ... Africa.
No wait ... Zaire ... The Vatican?
Number please.....
30,000 from the top line and.....erm just wait a minute.....Erm......no......300,000 from the bottom line.
'No, I didn't say howl, I said vowel dammit'.
