I'm only too glad that I am retired and have no reason to visit big cities. This is horrific. I'd probably be safer in Kabul.

I suppose they will be having barrier filtering systems next, on the London Bridges, but no doubt the terrorist will strike somewhere else, ***.

Theres going to be a tighter security at the concert tomorrow in Manchester.
Point taken, PP.
My husband works in London Bridge, Borough Market is our favourite place and now they've announced a third incident in Vauxhall. I just want to weep
A third incident being reported at Vauxhall.
^ It`s one of my haunts too. A trip around Borough Market then a drink at the Shard and the train back from Waterloo. Won't stop me going there though
More than one fatality at London Bridge.

From LBC 5 min ago.

An eyewitness told LBC radio what he saw at London Bridge tonight.

The taxi driver said: "A van came from London Bridge itself, went between the traffic light system and rammed it towards the steps. It knocked loads of people down.

"Then three men got out with long blades, 12 inches long and went randomly along Borough High Street stabbing people at random."
Many reports on BBC and Sky from people who can't string a single sentence together, shaky wannabe mobile phone footage, blue and white tape tied about the place at random and overweight people in uniform wearing surgical gloves and shouting at drinkers.

Now a uniformed bald man with a beard moves reporter along while others stand around looking suitably embarrassed.

Diane Abbott unavailable for ridicule.
