Actually to a degree I do understand. We are in the midst of a general election and Labour are looking at a trouncing from the Conservatives so any coalition with 'the enemy' will be seen as not good for their image or policies.
This is the bit I don't understand:

Scottish Conservative leader Ruth Davidson said: "Kezia Dugdale has shown her true colours.
"As soon as the SNP finally comes under pressure, she can't wait to help them out by propping them up in local government."

I thought the agreement was between Labour and the Tories to keep the SNP out.
anything to keep Queen Nicola at bay !!
Labour are predicted to end up with no seats in Scotland. Their enemy is the SNP; the Tories are merely a sideshow.
