Just how (over?) confident do you have to be to risk saying this?

It surely has to be a vote loser anywhere except the absolute depths of Tory Backwoodsville?

But (at the last count) I think around 84% of people opposed hunting - they can't all live in Islington?
She could probably say she wss in favour of legalising paedophilia as long as she sticks to 'Brexit means Brexit' and keeps repeating 'Strong and stable' and 'coalition of chaos'
Maybe she's just being honest. I'm not in favour but there is still a huge misconception about what 'class' of people go hunting.
It must be one of the good Lords biggest mistakes to make a fox such a cute and cuddly looking creature. It is vermin pure and simple and should be got rid of any way anyone chooses...

Indeed, ichkeria, indeed ... you wonder what other relics from the past might be brought back.

I suppose one good thing is that the obesity crisis means you can't stick kids up chimneys any more ...
This yougov poll suggest 51% supported the ban in 2015.

The box is full of surprises, this is the start.

I bet you wouldn't like to expand on that?
If there were just one reason not to vote Tory, than this is it.

As Oscar Wilde said...."“The unspeakable in pursuit of the uneatable!”
When Fox hunting was banned the 'Hunt saboteurs' and anti hunting activists were devastated , overnight they had lost the reason for their existence ! They enjoyed sabotaging the hunts and organising protests as much as or more than the hunters enjoyed the hunt.
well said, there's an amazing ignorance of rural shires across the board - we need a more sustainable plan to our farming, fishing and rural/marine policies and environmental balance......there will always be conflict in this area and so there should be.....debate and resolution, the key.
No,Eddie...we weren't.....you're wrong again.....x
Well said Eddie, although hunting still persists, as is well known.
It's just about irrelevant at the moment, unless it means gaining control of our shires - but then to realists of most political persuasions, agriculture and fishing make up less than 2% of our GDP......whereas tourism is 8%.

If you are one of the rurals and fisherfolk, of course it matters....but, overall, it's a flea on all political parties' backsides - needs the occasional scratch though, annoying as fleas can be.
Well said, Mikey??!!!!....Really?....

I don't think so.....and we didn't disband after the ban....we knew there would still be action to be taken.......these strange people are still breaking the law.....and I'll fight to keep it a law.

That's my point exactly, talbot - if they think they can get away with sticking this in the manifesto because "consider the alternative" is so scary, what else will they float out as the next month drifts past?
I see that now ... I'd actually skipped over your first line

'Just how (over?) confident do you have to be to risk saying this?'
