On the one hand she guarantees continuation of foreign aid at current levels whilst on the other hand her chancellor is hinting at ending the triple lock for pensioners and increasing taxes. Hardly vote winners.

Not long enough for Labour Mikey.

Re TM losing her suppprters on here you claimed 'mikey4444 Its looks as if Mrs Mays friends are showing distinct sins of jumping ship !

And then wrote 'non yet' in a letter post after I asked you to state which ABers had left.

Do you realise how daft such clutching at straws makes you look?
Zacs...thanks ...its always a pleasure to debate with you !
Impossible to debate something which the poster admits isn't true.
if she loses anything it'll be Hammond; but it may be that he's been specifically assigned to hint at dodgy policies in order to see how much flak they attract. In that case, he U-turns so that May doesn't have to (except on the subject of calling elections).
//Labour abandoned the slogan 'The Tories are the real extremists' amid fears it would highlight Jeremy Corbyn's links to groups like Hamas and the IRA, sources have told The Telegraph.
The phrase was discussed at a meeting of the party's National Executive Committee as a way to counter Tory attacks against the party leader during the campaign.
But fears were raised that it would prompt questions about Mr Corbyn's views on terrorist groups like Hamas and Hezbollah, which he has previously declared "friends".
Earlier this week the party put out a document which sought to reassure voters that Mr Corbyn is not a "terrorist sympathiser". //

Still...It must be even more amusing when you have to "U turn" even before you have set a policy. Haha.
I'm voting for Jeremy ... I've always fancied living in Venezuela.
Hasta la Vista, baby talbot

It means that pension increases will be tied to the highest of
a. Inflation
b. Earnings
c. 2.5%
-- answer removed --
10 Clarion Street...at the moment, inflation is at 2.3% ( I think !) so 2.5% is higher.
Thank you jd x

My best guess on this 10clarion is that because the issue is so toxic, they will avoid mentioning it in the new Tory Manifesto, but will bring it in some time after they win.

They are not afraid of breaking their promises, as they did just that at the last Budget over NIC contributions.
I hope they don't get in if the last sentence of your post at 15:00 is correct 10Clarion, but I fear they will !!

Theresa isn't stupid. Even if the triple lock goes there will still be pension increases. Only a political numbskull would try to alienate the grey vote, unless said numbskull had a grey beard himself.
Sincerely hope your'e right jd ...
mikey you are very rude, why should hereIam google it, he/she asked for help on here as others do about other things.
