In fact one could say where are the Muslims, since these ladies are Ahmadiyya Muslims, which are not classed as real Muslims by many mainstream Muslims.

Islay, they can turn out when it suits them, it's obvious it doesn't suit them when a policeman is killed. Some of the ladies that did show solidarity are retired, aren't there any retired muslim men?
As it was specifically a 'woman's' protest men are hardly going to be there. Muslims still separate men and women even in a Mosque, so men will not be at a woman's protest or women at a men's protest!
At least a step forward from the Saudi Arabian 'Women's Council' that consists entirely of Men !!
Can anyone else hear a barrel being scraped here?
To answer OldGit's question, perhaps some of the Muslim men were at home contributing to the Muslim charity fund set up for victims of this atrocity by, oh wait a Muslim man Muddasser Ahmed. They've raised £30,000 so far.
I hope that money isn't coming from the wrong sort of Muslim, Kvalidir?
Muslim 'charities' don't have a very good track record, do they?
Sam. You would have evidence of that ?
Kvalidir, Perhaps they were contributing to the fund and good for them but on other occasions they have raised funds and held rallies at the same time. I just think, if they are genuinely against violence, they missed an opportunity to let the people of Britain see that by a massive demonstration.
Samjenko, £30k is £30k, given by people in good faith because they feel humanity for someone else's misery. Try it sometime.
In some of your eyes they will never be able to do right! If they raise funds its the wrong sort of charity and if they protest then where are the men and if the men had protested then you would have complained that the women were absent.
Some of you are shockingly intolerant.
It was a nice gesture, but it is no where near enough. There needs to much more condemnation of such acts from the Muslim community.
I'm still thinking that many of the men would have been at work. Look at all the restaurants, halal butchers, shops etc etc that still need to be opened and manned.
"Some of you are shockingly intolerant."

No! no! nothing to do with intolerance, all to do with opinion....and the opinion based on the OP of the Muslim women to the London atrocity.

Some of us feel that it is a nice gesture, others feel that it is "rubbing salt into the wounds." Nothing to do with intolerance unless of course you are referring to your intolerance to other peoples differing opinions.
where were all the AB men during this demo? Were they out there making clear their own condemnation? Or perhaps just sitting at home letting women do their work for them?
More than 200 people turned out in Victoria Square, holding banners that read “Not in our name - Muslims oppose Isis”, in an event organised by Birmingham Central Mosque.

And how many does the Mosque hold?

anneasquith/// Sam. You would have evidence of that ?///

The last time you asked me that, I spent a deal of time and trouble to find the info and transpose it so even the simplest person could understand it. Did you thank me, no. Did you acknowledge it, no. Did you beg my forgiveness for doubting my word, no.
Rest assured anything I say is true. If you don't know about all the recent Muslim charity scandals you must walk around with your eyes shut. (or get your 'news' from the aBBC)
Sam. I think you may be confused I do not recall the conversation if you indeed have researched and produced evidence why not just repost ?( or maybe you posted as you're previous username ) ?
Samjenko, //£30k is £30k, given by people in good faith because they feel humanity for someone else's misery. Try it sometime.//

Marvelous. Although, sadly, recent events suggest the money may end up in the pockets of arms dealers to compound someone else's misery. Try opening your little mind up sometime.
