Can anyone tell me what/why the police were doing a fingertip search of the grounds of Parliament, after yesterday's awful attack?

I can understand why they would do one to find clues as to the who the person was, but they have all that information already.

Well they would look a bit silly if he dropped something like a computer memory stick, and it was found months later.

They probably aren't looking for anything in particular, just making certain they don't miss something.

Ahhhh. Good thinking, Hopkirk.
A computer stick is quite a large item, and can be spotted a few yards away, so hardly the need to search on hands and knees one would have thought?

I wondered about that Chrissa
as in - what a monumental waste of money and resources
we know who did it - where and how
so what is there left to inquire ?
I do think the police authorities know what they are doing.
A computer stick isn't large.
