I travel to America almost every year and so far have been treated with dignity and respect, however on going on to get a new Esta in preparation of my next visit, I have now been told I have to apply for a Visa - my crime despite holding a British passport I was born abroad!

They will know all about that visit I expect !

But isn't it strange that they didn't know that this chap was the son of Muhammad Ali ? I am sure a few clicks on a keyboard would have told them that.

Come to think of it....what if Ali Senior was still alive ? Would he be subjected to 2 hours of questioning ?

But it wasn't an opposing post, it was completely 'out of left field' as our American cousins say. A silly, utterly irrelevant post, with the sole intention of needling someone. If you're proud of that as a debating skill, then you should be ashamed of yourself.
