That couldn't happen here, could it?

And Randy....the small business always loses...
Question Author
RandyMarsh, that's not America - that's business.
It's simply not true that Trump hasn't suffered financially due to his Bankruptcies:

He funded the construction of the $1 billion Trump Taj Mahal casino in Atlantic City, N.J., which opened in 1990, primarily with junk bonds at a whopping 14 percent interest. A year later, the casino was nearly $3 billion in debt, while Trump had racked up nearly $900 million in personal liabilities

In March 1992, the Castle filed a prepackaged bankruptcy plan, and Trump gave up his 50 percent share in the casino for lower interest rates on $338 million worth of bonds.

In December 1992, Trump relinquished a 49 percent stake in the Plaza to a total of six lenders, according to ABC News. Trump remained the hotel’s CEO, but it was merely a gesture; he didn’t earn a salary and had no say in the hotel’s day-to-day operations, according to the New York Times.

Islay, // it is pretty sickening that he trumps on about what a great business man he his but he has folded and filed for several of his businesses!! That is why I will never respect the letchy man that he is! //

If that were the sole reason you will never respect him you wouldn't have referred to him as a "letchy man".
Big businesses bankrupting small businesses is not business...it's careless and morally wrong.
Naomi I don't think you want people responding to your threads that have a differing opinion as you always diss them!

I really can't be bothered anymore!
Question Author
It's all Trump's fault for the way the world of business works, ummmm. Gosh, that man has even more to answer for than we thought!
Question Author
Islay, I'm not 'dissing' anyone. Simply pointing out the inconsistency in your argument. I'm sure you can see that now?
Islay seems to have missed my post too.
I didn't say it was all Trumps fault. Jeez...
Question Author
Zacs-Master, perhaps she can't be bothered with you either. Oh well ....
News Conference at 6.30.
More popcorn ...:-)
"Press" conference
Zacs I don't think I ever stated that he had not suffered did I.

By the way I can be bothered with you!
I'm sorry you feel that way. I was merely pointing out that it hasn't all been a bed of roses for him. The man who did nothing never made any mistakes.
No you are misunderstanding me Zacs!!

I am OK with you!! Naomi was stirring when she suggested that I was ignoring you - I was not!!!
Question Author
Islay, I wasn't stirring. I took you at your word.
Oh Dear,Naomi and Islay at loggerheads again!!

Question Author
Seems so.
