I don't understand this open boarder policy.

My cousins husband is from Trinidad and they made it so hard for him to settle here even though his mother was already here. They wouldn't issue a work permit and they even investigated their marriage even after they had a honeymoon baby.

All good now...still happily married 13 years later...and both working full time.
Sorry divebuddy but I must have missed you saying 'illegal' I was talking about immigrants that came here legally.

The UK doesn't have open borders, we have never been part of the Schengen Agreement

Mikey...

"Completely unsubstantiated drivel."

Except I work I in a large NHS Hospital I witness it first hand.

No I don't have links and statistics. I have a permanent front-row seat to the live show.

// The LSE found there were between 417,000 and 863,000 illegals living in the UK, with a central figure of 613,000. Ministers accept the figures.//

If as stated Ministers accept the figures, then more effort should be put into finding & deporting them.

Quite true, Balders, and "open borders" is not the correct term. However, anybody arriving in the UK on a passport issued by an EU member nation cannot be denied admission and can live and work here. They are also entitled to claim, near enough, the same benefits as UK citizens.

rocky; //Katie Hopkins is sickening she really is a privileged cow who had never ever had to struggle.//
That is a lie.
'Hopkins suffered from severe epilepsy from the age of 19; the condition was responsible for ending her involvement in the armed forces. In 2016, she underwent successful brain surgery to relieve the condition.'

TRT. I don not lie, or exaggerate. That was the response I eventually got from phoning my doctors surgery. Incidentally, I do live on an island, the Isle of Wight. I am not a liar.....
rockyroad, at 20.27 to NoMercy. (I don't think your username is entirely accurate .... but nevertheless ....)

//Nom I would be interested to know where you got your figures from " 100s of thousands of Poles in this country who drink to excess //

I don't have figures but a few days ago I was talking to a young Frenchman who has come to live and work in England. He specifically mentioned the Poles. He said he moved away from the town he originally settled in because of the problems the Poles create with their drunkenness. Just for the record he said ‘Europe is crazy!”
NoMercy....thanks for confirming that I already thought....that you have no evidence for your rantings and ramblings !
Perhaps she'll start a new thread: "What are you having for breakfast?"
Mikey, sometimes imperial evidence outweighs statistics.
Impirical
Zacs....only for those that are not interested in the truth.
That's simply not true Mikey. NoM might be very much interested in the truth as she sees it day after day. Have you yourself provided any factual evidence to counter her argument or indeed substantiate your own?
Mikey, I have neither ranted nor rambled. I work in the NHS. I previously worked for the Benefits Agency in the days before it became the DWP. Our health care and welfare systems are being used and abused by immigrants who contribute nothing to society, fiddle tax and claim child support for children back home who ... drumroll ... don't even exist!

Why can't you cope with the truth?
Zacs....I don't have to produce evidence about NoMercy's claim.....its up to the poster to produce the evidence, which she has failed to do.
