After a tweet by Donald Trump, Locheed saw $3.5billion wiped off its share price. The drop looked like this...

// The F-35 program and cost is out of control. Billions of dollars can and will be saved on military (and other) purchases after January 20th. //

Britain's BAE Systems saw its stock slip 1.3 per cent after Mr Trump's tweet.
Do the CIA still do assassinations? Must be a good case building up ...
Do Locheed sell counterfeit goods?

I suppose if he was in charge here he'd be cancelling Trident for the same reason.
Rather than commission a new presidential jet he could upgrade a Trumpton jet at half the cost. Then when he leaves he can write it off as a tax loss for 20 years.
So you would rather he spent money unnecessarily just to give a public company more profit?

the first pres to wise up on this was Eisenhower ( yeah yeah I know s/o is gonna quip " Ice and who? er " ) in 1958 apparently.

Post Korean war [ka- who an' what ?] he realised that his ex army pals in the US forces were ordering up toys for the boys ( rifles and things) which didnt do what they were bought for ( kill gooks in fifties speak) - but were big made a lot of noise and cost a lot

Eisenhower was the first to front up "the industrial-military complex" which I thought was straight out of Catch-22 but no instead was straight out of the Presidents mouth
