UKIP is not unique in fighting amongst themselves. Just look at the shambolic Labour Party. A disgrace of a leader and sycophant followers willing to poke their nose so right up his jacksie. And all done in the full glare of the public and media.

In reality they all disgrace themselves at some point and all parties are guilty of infighting from time to time and all it does is serve the likes of those opposed to something or someone to crow a bit. The tables soon turn. Then they turn again And then again. It just keeps turning with we mean plebs watching and commenting whenever we think it will benefit our view.

cassa...do you think that a Party with only 1 MP can really afford to carry on in such complete chaos ?

If it can't even elect a Leader that stays for longer than 18 days, how does it ever expect to be taken seriously in the future ?
As I've stated before, Nuttall was the man who should have got the job before but for personal reasons felt unable to stand for the job. I think he will galvanise the party and start to turn the screw.

The country needs a credible opposition and Nuttall has the time to make inroads in a weak political scene.
Morale within UKIP is quite low at the moment. Membership is dwindling and there have been a few high profile resignations. Whoever is leader will have an almighty task. It would be hard to overplay the huge part Farage played in keeping them focussed. Even if he really does emigrate to the US tho perhaps he could carry on his high profile and perhaps the voters would think he was still in charge. What they'd really miss tho would be his personality on the ground knocking heads together. Without him, even if Brexit doubts continue to rumble, it's hard to see them doing anything than slowly going backwards. They still have the capacity to hurt the main parties in high profile by elections perhaps, depending on where. It'll be interesting to see if Labour do what the stories failed to do and hold their nerve over the EU and immigration.
•Tories not stories :-)
Mikey, if the chances of UKIP's success are as hopeless as you say, why are you worrying about it so much?
^ it keeps his mind off Labours woes if he can dwell on UKIP!
NUTTALL
Oh heck. They can't even get through his acceptance speech without loosing sound, great start ukip . :-)
Mr NUTTALL From Bootle Merseyside, suppose it makes a change from Henley on Thames and Eton College.
"" time will tell" more than 18 days ?

Farage has just said that he is off to America, "as a tourist"...yeah....just the place to go on November !

I wouldn't start your packing quite yet though Nigel.....better wait for about 18 days before you head for the Airport.

Evidence ? :::::

"I have been at the forefront of the campaign to leave the European Union for a decade now," he said, "and I believe I can step aside with my objective achieved and my head held high"....Paul Nuttall this summer.

"It’s going to take me a while to come back to Earth. My goodness you’ve handed over a mantle, but it’s one that I’m deeply honoured to take on from Nigel".....Diane James, 18 days before resigning as Leader in September 2016.

She subsequently resigned her party membership on 21 November 2016.
anneasquith, // Oh heck. They can't even get through his acceptance speech without loosing sound, great start ukip . :-) //

It's obviously a BBC plot. ;o)

Mikey, //Farage has just said that he is off to America, "as a tourist"...yeah....just the place to go on November ! //
