"tell us what we already know"

Tell us what exactly ? If we don't have an Inquiry, how will we know what questions to ask, and who to ask them of ?
TTT You said 'Abandon it and move on' is that not the same as 'drop it'?
Just what do we know so far ttt?
yes eddie I'm talking about the inquiry not the lessons we have learnt since all this blew up.
tell me what you'd like to know anne and I'll tell you the answer now, how's that?
Question Author
TTT....Rather a facetious answer to anneasquith IMHO.
Anneasquith had little expectation from ttt, :-)
Question Author
Remarkably philosophical Anne !
well someone tell me what the Inquiry is trying to find out?
Question Author
Here it is TTT....saves you the bother I suppose of googling yourself ::::

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Independent_Inquiry_into_Child_Sexual_Abuse
"The inquiry was established to examine how the country's institutions handled their duty of care to protect children from sexual abuse" - they very often didn't, at best they did not believe the abused, at worst they covered it up to protect celebrities. There that's saved a few quid.
Yes, it is true we know enough of the issues that the money would be better spent ensuring it no longer happens and will not happen in the future.

But that would be too sensible.

TTT....how your legal genius and know-how has gone undiscovered over the years is a mystery to me !
It's like anything.'We shall learn the lessons blah blah'.

Like, no more young deaths from failing agencies, no more rail disasters, no more football stadium disasters, no more releasing mentally ill people into the community to kill,no granting of bail to dangerous criminals, no cyberfraud, etc etc

Let's get real, lessons are rarely learnt and the same mistakes are made time and time again!
It'll take 3 years and cost £10million in leech fees and produce a 15 volume report but that's what it will say.
Do you think it could be the same Establishment that's trying to derail the Brexit vote?
^^ Now all we need is someone to bring immigration into the equation!
