She said she was dismissed for whistle blowing which isn't the same.

I can understand the complaint about showing 11 / 12 year olds a clip of film which is rated for over 18's but I fail to see where religious discrimination comes into it.

I don't think we know enough about it. her reasons for not showing it seem to have nothing to do with religion or race and I doubt this refusal to show the video was the only factor in the decision to dismiss. I am also not sure what arguments she has for saying it was racial discrimination. So I am not sure we can say either way based on this story. Muslim isn't a race so I am not sure why the Mail even mentioned her religion - unless they wanted to get people mutttering about Muslims again

I don't think for a moment that article has all the details we need, so I shall just stick to saying I think Ms Bi was right to raise concerns re that video for that age group.

Looking at her CV I think she'll do OK - been busy, even started her own business at 17.

Yet again the 'Wail' introducing the 'Muslim' factor when it has nothing to do with religion. The teacher is objecting correctly to 11 year olds being shown a video that is rated for over 18s only. The fact that the teacher is Muslim has nothing to do with it.

This is not at all clear. She claims she was concerned about children being exposed to graphic scenes. How is that 'religious discrimination'?
